Diploma in Project Management

The Level Professional Diploma in Project Management is an accredited internationally recognized programme that is designed to enable project team members and team leaders of single and multiple workplace projects to perform their role more thoughtfully and more effectively. The project management training covered by the content is also suitable for Owner Managers and Consultants who wish to increase their knowledge in this area. INTER-CEPT accreditation is recognized internationally and its qualifications are accepted by employers and higher education establishments throughout the world, and by professional associations such as the PMI and APM.

In addition, the design of the Diploma means that the course also provides a sound basis for managers who wish to develop further and take higher level management and business programmes.

A course comprises 7 mandatory modules.

The Life Cycle of the Project;
Overview of Prince Project Methodology;
The Lean and Mean Approach

CEP301: Module 4: Feasibility and Risk in Projects

Testing and Assessing the Feasibility of the Project;
Assessing and Managing Risk

CEP301: Module 5: Working with and Leading People ( Project Teams )

Managing the Project Team Members;
Managing Creativity and Conflict;
Internal and External Roles and Responsibilities;
Managing Relationships

CEP301: Module 6: The Project Closure Stage

Planning and Activating the Closure Point;
A Project Closure Templates

CEP301: Module 7: Managing Projects: Research, Development, Proposal, Implementation

Individual Report - Planning the implementation of a project

All 7 modules must be successfully completed to gain the award.

Assessment Requirements

  • Module 1 - Professional Development Activities
  • Modules 2 to 7 - One Research or Work-based Assignment
  • Modules 8 - Research Project and Presentation
  • Professional Development activities maintained throughout the course

Tutor Support

Following registration, you will be allocated a tutor, who will be available by telephone, fax, and email to discuss your coursework and give advice and guidance on assignments.

Assessment

The assessment systems used will vary widely depending on the subject matter. Assessment methods include integrated continuous assessment, assignments, and end of module / semester examinations. There will be few exams and much report-writing combined with continuous assessment.

 

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum age is 24
  • Minimum 1 year working experience.

Course Fee: $1,580 for the entire course.

The fee can be paid in full or per semester.

Course Duration: Minimum Duration: 1 Year. Maximum Duration: 2Years

Course intakes : Intercept has 4 intakes per year starting in January, March, July and September
