Future natural disasters, environmental change, political instability and conflicts will only increase humanitarian needs. INTER-CEPT trains people interested in being available to assist after major disasters. The specific areas of focus are disaster preparedness, response coordination, and stakeholder collaboration (including the private sector). In The Field Intercept prepare personnel for some of the challenges they may face on field assignments. Training covers the basics of emergency relief work, logistics, water, sanitation, shelter planning, health , security and communications.
