Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport
Target Audience The course is aimed at new and aspiring senior managers wishing to make the move from operational to strategic management and to develop key skills in the area of leadership. Course Content The course comprises of five compulsory units, which consist of a number of elements, these are: CEP 801: Logistics and Transport - Strategic Context
CEP 802: Leadership and Strategic Management in Logistics and Transport
CEP 803: Strategic Network Planning in Logistics and Transport
CEP 804: Delivering Strategic Performance in Logistics and Transport
CEP 805: Research Methods and the Professional Project in Logistics and Transport - double unit
Eligibility There are no formal entry requirements. However, it would be advantages for candidates if they are working in a job that relates to the level of activity covered by the content of the course. How is the qualification assessed?
Career Paths/Opportunities Logistics Managers ,Materials Managers ,Import / Export Managers ,Warehouse and Stock Managers ,Supply Chain Managers ,Distribution Managers ,Transport Managers ,Logistics Consultants. Inter-cept will provide independent assessment of all Unit 5 project reports regardless of which assessment route is used for Units 1 – 4. Element 1 will not be assessed separately, evidence of the outcomes of effective performance and the required knowledge and understanding for that Element will be assessed as part of the assessment of Element 2 – the Professional Project. Assessments INTER-CEPT will provide independent assessment of the Unit 5 project reports regardless of which assessment route is used for Units 1 – 4. Element 1 will not be assessed separately, evidence of the outcomes of effective performance and the required knowledge and understanding for that Element will be assessed as part of the assessment of Element 2 – the Professional Project. Candidates are required to be assessed to show that they have met all the learning outcomes in each unit of the syllabus. The unit assessment should extend into areas beyond the context in which the candidate normally works, to ensure their ability to perform in a variety of programme or project contexts. The assessment systems used will vary widely depending on the subject matter. Assessment methods include integrated continuous assessment, assignments, and end of module / semester examinations. There will be few exams and much report-writing combined with continuous assessment.
Course Fee : $1850 for the entire course or $ 370 per module. The fee can be paid in full or per semester.
